Tailoring Togo is an initiative created to improve the life conditions and future prospects of girls and young women in the town Kpalimé in Togo. Together with your help we want to create an education center for tailors, focused on the production of textiles and clothes.
In Togo there is a huge demand for these products, which makes it a secure and sustainable investment for the future livelihood of the women. Around 20 young girls will get the opportunity to learn the profession of tailoring in order to start their own business or work as employees for the center or different enterprises.
The center will be constructed in cooperation with the Togolese entrepreneur Chantal, who, as a licensed master of design and couture, will be in charge of teaching. Her company has already gained huge success and her products are now sold nationwide as well as in Europe and the USA.
